Garam Masala Salmon

Description

I use McCormick’s garam masala (I buy it at Publix) and love the aromatic combination of flavors from coriander, cumin, cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh salmon filet
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Place salmon, skin side down, on a non-stick baking sheet
  3. Combine all spices, salt and pepper and stir together
  4. Sprinkle spice mix on top of salmon filet
  5. Bake for approximately 13 – 15 minutes, or until salmon flakes with a fork
